Welcome to another day. In these next few short micro seconds you will suddenly be transformed from a novice to expert in Website design and development. Your page will be smashing, very useful and you’ll end that horrible nagging feeling you get every time you spot the logo on the back of your car, look at the webpage link scrawled across the top and think “oh god please people who see my car don’t go to that simple silly page that I’m still so glad Michelle helped me with, but I’m still so embarrassed by as I really should know how to design a new webpage and actually have helpful stuff on there by now!”
Oh how I wish it was that easy. It’s time to admit (and listen to my children giggle at me) and say “I am a Noob!”
I might have gone to Art School.
I might know how to use some funky image programs.
But designing a whole site? I am SUCH a Noob!
My life is not over, I’m still a lifelong learner and away we go! Any tips will be warmly received. I’m currently watching Youtubes on Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, PHP and Joolma. Since 2007 I’ve had a Domain Hosting account (through http://www.nete-quette.com, run by an awesome local guy).
If you are reading this please say ‘hi’ … I know most people who visit my blog just lurk but it would be nice to see a ‘hi’ every now and then.
Update!!!! My website has been updated!!!! I love my sister Emma so very much. Now it’s all ‘WordPressed’ and I can update it easily. Onward to the next adventure… uploading all my notes, links, resources etc! YAY!
